Gas heating With its sunny, south facing garden and everything close to hand, Miller's Cottage offers very well presented accommodation for not more than four people seeking a restful holiday. A small front garden leads to the front door and enclosed porch where, off the entrance hall, is a good sized living room with wooden floors, comfortable soft seating and a television with DVD, a radio/cassette/cd player and a telephone for incoming calls only. The kitchen is well fitted with wall and floor units to provide good storage facilities, together with a fridge/freezer, microwave, tumble dryer, washing machine, cooker with gas hobs and electric oven and ample dining and cooking equipment. There is also a dining table and chairs for four persons by the kitchen window looking to the back garden. From the kitchen, is a pleasant, south facing sun room with a door out onto the patio with outside furniture, a brick paved and shingle garden area and well stocked flowers beds - there is a tall, ancient wall at the bottom of the garden covered with a rambling, trailing clematis. A second door from the sun room goes to a ground floor cloakroom with w.c. Wide, sensible stairs from the entrance hall go up to the first floor with a spacious front bedroom with a king size bed and plenty of clothes storage facilities. To the rear of Miller's Cottage is a twin bedded room and the bathroom with wash hand basin, w.c. and bath with mains shower over. There is a gas fired boiler to provide hot water and to serve heating to radiators throughout the house. The owners provide duvets and pillows on the beds, together with all bedlinen and towels. Outside the front of the row of houses is a set back lay-by for parking (as available) and there is also a public carpark diagonally opposite Miller's Cottage where you can display a weekly parking ticket which can be ordered at the time of making your holiday reservation - please note that this ticket does not guarantee a carpark space, it is just a cheaper and easier way of parking and saves hunting for the correct coins! Weekly tickets are for use in some Suffolk Coastal District Council Public (SCDC) car parks and can be purchased from the Tourist Information Centre, which is in the railway station building. For charges, and details of eligible car parks and other conditions, see SCDC's Car Parks page. One, small well behaved dog is allowed but it is regretted that smoking is not permitted.
