The village of Bredfield is found about a mile and a half west of the A12, the main Lowestoft to London road, and about 5 miles from the centre of Woodbridge. It is a pleasant little community with a church and, in the village hall beside the bowls green, is a small shop. Sadly, the pub has recently closed but the Greyhound in next door Pettistree is very good. Further shops and entertainments are in Woodbridge or, alternatively, in Wickham Market about 3 miles to the north. Primrose Cottages is an L-shape row of pretty, period cottages and number 3 is a semi-detached, two bedroom property providing pleasant and comfortable accommodation for four people in two bedrooms. Approached down a little path passing roses and other summer flowering cottage garden plants, the side door opens into an entrance hall off which is the good sized bathroom with a shower over the bath, washbasin and w.c. Next is the little dining room with a glazed garden door leading out onto a patio with outside furniture. The beamed kitchen with its electric AGA, quarry tile floor and handmade wooden storage cupboards has a cosy, cottagey ambience. What was once the kitchen window is now an open space looking into the dining room, and to the rear garden beyond. There is a fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, mini hifi music system, together with ample cooking and dining equipment. Beyond the kitchen is a small sitting room with an open fire and a television with a DVD and freeview which can provide radio stations in stereo. Behind a door in the kitchen, steep curved stairs lead up to two bedrooms, each with a double bed. Primrose Cottages are behind a tall hedge and set back from the road and number 3 has a very large rear garden mainly laid to lawn. The owner provides pillows and duvets and all bedlinen and some towels. As well as the open fire in the sitting room, a gas boiler provides central heating to radiators throughout the cottage, as well as hot water. Parking is road side in the village street. Although the garden is not enclosed one well behaved dog and children are welcome. Smoking is not permitted inside the cottage.
