After having followed a career with a large international company, Penny (daughter number two), joined the family business in 1991. Over the years, she gained much knowledge of the requirements and needs of holidaymakers and landlords alike and having lived in Suffolk for nearly 50 years, she also knew the area pretty well! In October 2009, Penny decided to retire from the company and the business was acquired by SUFFOLK Secrets, a family-owned local company with an enviable reputation in the Suffolk holiday cottage industry. The company still operates from the same superb location beside the river Deben, in the heart of Woodbridge - an area very popular with visitors - and continues to receive tremendous help and support from all the team in the office at Woodbridge. Mrs Jane Good, formed the company of Mrs Jane Good Limited in 1976 but decided to retire from the business world in January 2003. Her daughter, Caroline, who had been with the company for 20 years, also decided that she would like a career change. This resulted in a restructuring of the company which saw the formation of Mrs Jane Good Holidays. The transition from one company to the other took place on 1st February 2003.
