East Anglia is one of the most popular locations in England to rent self catering holiday cottages. Americans, many of whom served in this part of the UK in WW2 and the cold war, would call our holiday accommodation "vacation rental lodgings" or "lodgings for rent." Towns and villages encompassed by our self catering holiday accommodation include Snape - renowned for its Maltings concert hall and the Aldeburgh Festival - and Woodbridge, on the banks of the river Deben, famous for its Tide Mill and for just being a lovely town to visit - as is the world-famous heritage site of the Sutton Hoo Saxon royal ship burial. This entire area is all within easy driving distance of Ipswich, with its direct rail links to London and Norwich. A day trip to Newmarket races is 'on the cards' from any of our holiday properties, as are the cities of Cambridge or Norwich. We can even arrange a 15% discount on your hire car from John Grose.
